Dubai’s Global Village Opens 28th Season with New Ticketing Options

The popular multicultural destination opens for its 28th season today — a full week before it usually does every year

Dubai’s much-loved Global Village has officially opened for its 28th season, and visitors can now book their entry tickets through the park’s official app and website. This year, the park opens a week earlier than usual, with gates welcoming the public at 6 pm on the first day.

To enhance the visitor experience, Global Village offers two types of entry tickets this season. While prices have seen a slight increase, visitors can enjoy a 10 percent discount if they book their tickets online. Here are the new ticket rates:

Value Tickets: Dh25 at the gate; Dh22.5 online

  • Valid from Sunday to Thursday (excluding public holidays), these tickets are designed to encourage weekday visits. Last year, they were priced at Dh20 at the gate and Dh18 online.

Any Day Tickets: Dh30 at the gate; Dh27 online

  • These tickets offer flexibility, allowing visitors to use them on any day of the week, including weekends and public holidays. In the previous season, they were priced at Dh25 at the gate and Dh22.5 online.

  • Stunt Show: Dh20
    • Cyber City Stunt Show is set in the year 2075 and features flying bikes, LED-covered police cars, and a tank.
  • Ripley’s Believe It Or Not: Dh45
    • This unique ‘Odditorium’ in the region hosts a wide array of eccentric displays.

As for operating hours, Global Village typically follows this schedule:

  • Sunday to Wednesday: 4 pm to 12 am
  • Thursday to Saturday and public holidays: 4 pm to 1 am

Additionally, Tuesdays, except those falling on a public holiday, are reserved for families and women.

Global Village is renowned for its country-themed pavilions that showcase the culture, food, clothing, and performances of various nations. This year, the park has listed 27 pavilions on its website, with popular ones including Turkey, Japan, Europe, Egypt, India, Pakistan, and Africa.
