The UAE is set to experience rains of varying intensities from November 15 to November 18, as announced by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). This comes after a weekend where the Emirates had experienced 28 consecutive days of rain.

The weather forecast for November 15 shows cloudy conditions with rain expected in the evening. On November 16 and 17, there is a likelihood of lightning, thunder, and rainfall in the eastern, northern, and coastal areas of the country. The weather is expected to improve on November 18, with the eastern regions experiencing partly cloudy conditions and possible rain.
The UAE has recently enjoyed pleasant weather, with the lowest recorded temperature for the season reaching below 10°C in Rakna, Al Ain. Other areas, including Al Marmoom and Lahbab in Dubai, registered temperatures as low as 13°C. According to the NCM’s five-day weather forecast, the temperature is expected to drop further on Thursday.

The UAE has been experiencing a particularly rainy season, with heavy rains, thunderstorms, and hail occurring from October 14 to November 10. Flooding was observed in valleys and streets, and waterfalls cascaded down the mountains during this period. Last weekend marked the end of this extended rainy period, and experts from the NCM noted that this season’s rainfall had been heavier than usual.
