Plan B for Burj Khalifa New Year’s Eve Show as Tickets Sell Out

In the race for the coveted ‘front-row-seat’ experience of Burj Khalifa’s world-famous New Year’s Eve show at Burj Park, it’s time for Plan B. Emaar, the developer of Burj Khalifa, announced in November that tickets would be required for this prime viewing experience, and as of now, they are all sold out.The tickets, priced at Dh300 for adults and Dh150 for kids, promised uninterrupted views of the iconic fireworks and light show, coupled with live entertainment. Each pass also included one meal and two drinks. Released on November 10, these sought-after tickets were sold exclusively on the Platinumlist platform, and a recent check confirms their complete sell-out.

For those who missed out on securing a ticket, there’s still hope to witness the spectacle. Venues surrounding Burj Khalifa will remain free for all this New Year’s Eve, but a solid game plan is essential due to anticipated heavy traffic, road closures, and Metro station closures in the area.Options include heading to Dubai Mall, securing a spot along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, exploring Souk Al Bahar, or opting for various parts of Downtown Dubai. Booking a table at one of the numerous restaurants in the area is also recommended, though many have successfully enjoyed the show from public areas in previous years.

For those averse to facing the crowds and traffic on December 31, a live-stream is a viable alternative. Emaar has a history of delivering an exceptional virtual experience with drone shots and perfect camera angles, ensuring viewers won’t miss a moment of the festivities from the comfort of their screens. Cheers to ringing in the New Year with the iconic Burj Khalifa celebration!
