Dubai authorities have confirmed the availability of a five-year multiple-entry visa for tourists of all nationalities, including Indian travelers. The visa has been accessible for the past two years and aims to facilitate tourism and strengthen ties between India and the UAE.
Initially announced in 2021, the multiple-entry permit has garnered attention from Indian tourists seeking to explore Dubai’s attractions and experiences. To further promote tourism from India, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) emphasized the availability of this visa during a recent travel expo in Mumbai.

The visa application process is efficient, with visas typically issued within two to five working days upon receipt and acceptance of the service request. Holders of the visa are permitted to stay in the UAE for up to 90 days, with the option to extend their stay once for a similar period, not exceeding a total stay of 180 days within one year.
According to Bader Ali Habib, the regional head of proximity markets at the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the introduction of the five-year multiple-entry visa has significantly impacted travel trends. It has become a preferred choice for frequent travelers, eliminating barriers and allowing for last-minute travel arrangements.
