Renowned Emirati businessman Saeed Juma Al Naboodah, Chairman of the Saeed and Mohammed Al Naboodah Group, has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of significant contributions to the business landscape of the UAE.
Former chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry during the pivotal period from 1982 to 1997, Al Naboodah was remembered as a pioneering figure in the Emirates’ business sector. His passing drew heartfelt tributes from leaders including Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who hailed him as the “pioneer of business in the Emirates.”

In a social media post, Sheikh Mohammed offered prayers for Al Naboodah’s family, expressing wishes for patience and solace during this difficult time. Similarly, Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, extended condolences to the bereaved family, invoking divine mercy upon the departed soul.
Al Naboodah’s influence extended beyond business, as he was closely associated with Sheikh Rashid and played a significant role in institutional affairs. His service in the Federal National Council during its formative years from 1972 to 1978 further underscores his commitment to national development.
