The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed profound concern about the situation and extended its heartfelt condolences for the lives lost during the ongoing conflict.

With the death toll surpassing 200 in both Israel and Palestine, the UAE’s Foreign Ministry issued a plea for maximum restraint and an urgent ceasefire to avert further perilous consequences.
The recent escalation saw Palestinian militants in Gaza execute an unprecedented incursion into southern Israel, dispatching fighters across the border and unleashing a barrage of thousands of rockets into Israeli territory. In response, Israel launched airstrikes in retaliation.

As a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, the UAE is calling for the immediate reactivation of the international Quartet, aimed at reinvigorating the Arab-Israeli peace process.
