UAE Strongly Condemns Israeli Attacks on Gaza Hospitals, Calls for Immediate Ceasefire

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has issued a strong condemnation and expressed vehement denunciation of the recent Israeli airstrikes targeting the vicinity of the Jordanian field hospital and hospitals in the Gaza Strip. The UAE firmly rejected such attacks on hospitals, civilian organizations, and facilities in Gaza, emphasizing the need to prioritize the preservation of civilian lives.

In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of the UAE highlighted the immediate priority of safeguarding civilians’ lives and ensuring the complete protection of organizations and civilian facilities. The ministry stressed the urgency of facilitating the immediate, safe, sustainable, and unhindered delivery of humanitarian, relief, and medical aid to the Palestinian population.

Emphasizing the imperative for an immediate ceasefire, the UAE MoFA underscored the necessity to prevent further loss of life. It reiterated the significance of adhering to international law, including international treaties, to ensure the protection of civilians and civilian institutions during conflicts.

The UAE called upon the international community to intensify efforts to de-escalate the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. It urged all stakeholders to advance comprehensive and just peace initiatives, while actively working to prevent the region from descending into heightened levels of violence, tension, and instability.
