The Local Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Team in Sharjah has directed the Sharjah Social Services Department to promptly address the urgent needs of affected families. Citizens can now submit requests for assistance via WhatsApp to the number 065015161, enabling authorities to coordinate swift support measures tailored to each family’s requirements.
Similarly, in Dubai, citizens impacted by the storm can seek support by contacting the designated WhatsApp number (0583009000) to request assistance from authorities.

These initiatives come in the wake of directives from Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, urging concerned authorities to prepare for extreme weather conditions and prioritize the welfare of affected individuals.
Under the guidance of Sheikh Hamdan, Omar Hamad Bushahab, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, has established a committee tasked with evaluating requests from affected citizens and devising appropriate measures to address their needs. The committee is prioritizing the restoration of damaged homes to ensure the safety and well-being of affected families.
These proactive steps underscore the commitment of UAE authorities to provide swift and effective assistance to residents grappling with the aftermath of natural disasters.
