Key Features of the Virtual Amer Service:

  • Remote Resolution: The Virtual Amer Service eliminates the need for applicants to visit an Amer center in Dubai physically. It enables individuals to address issues related to missing or unclear documents remotely, from the comfort of their own location.
  • Real-Time Interaction: What sets this service apart is the human touch. Applicants engage in real-time conversations with GDRFA officers through video conferencing, allowing for direct communication and problem-solving.
  • Simplified Process: When an applicant’s documents are found to be missing or unclear, they can access the Virtual Amer Service remotely. A GDRFA officer will guide them through the process, reviewing and addressing the document issues. Applicants can then upload the necessary documents via the chat box to complete their transaction.
  • Supported Visa Types: The service covers a wide range of visa types, including residency, student, visit, golden, and green visas. It is particularly beneficial for applicants whose applications have faced delays due to document-related issues.
  • Transaction Volume: The GDRFA-Dubai reported impressive figures, revealing that 250,000 transactions were successfully processed during the initial phase of the video call service’s introduction in the first quarter of 2023. This underscores the efficiency and popularity of the service.
  • Operating Hours: Currently, the Virtual Amer Service is available on weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 7 am to 7 pm. However, there are plans to extend its availability to a 24/7 service, ensuring accessibility for applicants at any time.
  • Alternative Contact: In addition to the Virtual Amer Service, applicants have access to the Amer call center via the toll-free number 8005111, which is available round the clock for assistance and inquiries.

With its successful implementation, the Virtual Amer Service is expected to further streamline the visa and Emirates ID application process in Dubai and offer applicants a seamless experience.
