A devastating incident occurred on Sunday as a small plane crashed shortly after takeoff near the Rio Branco airport, the capital of the western Brazilian state of Acre. This tragic accident resulted in the loss of 12 lives, including an infant, all of whom were on board the aircraft.

The plane was operated by the local company ART Taxi Aereo. Authorities in the Acre state have announced that an investigation will be launched to determine the causes of the crash. The plane was en route to Envira, a small town in the Amazonas state.
