The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in the UAE has announced a tsunami simulation exercise to be conducted on Fujairah’s Al Rughailat Beach on October 11th, starting at 10 am.

The exercise, known as ‘IOWave 23 Tsunami Exercise,’ will involve mock evacuation drills and coordinated movements of emergency response vehicles. Residents in the area are advised to expect these activities during the exercise.

MoI teams and officers will be on-site to oversee and participate in the drill, which aims to prepare for various tsunami scenarios.
