Dubai Airports Set to Resume Regular Operations Soon, COO Confirms

Dubai Airports is on track to return to regular operations within the next 24 hours, according to Chief Operating Officer Majid Al Joker. In an interview with the Emirates News Agency, WAM, Al Joker emphasized that efforts to restore normalcy have already begun, with Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 gradually resuming operations and experiencing smoother movement.

Ensuring passenger safety remains the top priority for Dubai Airports, with a focus on mitigating the effects of the recent weather crisis on travelers. Al Joker commended the collaborative efforts of response and emergency teams, strategic partners, and airlines in coordinating the response and supporting affected passengers.

Despite initial capacity challenges during the onset of the weather disturbance, Al Joker praised the resilience of airport staff and partners in meeting travelers’ needs with exceptional care and attention. He underscored ongoing communication with affected passengers to address their various needs, including refreshments, information updates, flight rescheduling, and booking assistance.

While most airlines are operating, Al Joker advised travelers to stay updated by directly contacting their respective airlines, as the situation remains dynamic.

Dubai Airports expressed gratitude to its dedicated staff and the entire airport community for their tireless efforts in ensuring the comfort and safety of every guest throughout the crisis.
