This morning, residents in Al Ain woke up to a gentle shower while the rest of the region experienced overcast skies. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts that the cloudy weather will persist throughout the day.

Amid the usual summer heat, the cloud cover is expected to bring a slight drop in temperatures. However, the maximum temperature in major cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi is still predicted to reach a scorching 44 degrees Celsius.
