Residents across various parts of the UAE can look forward to some respite from the summer heat as the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts spells of rainfall over the next few days. Starting Monday, August 5, and continuing through Thursday, August 8, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy across most regions of the country, with rainfall likely in eastern and southern areas.
According to the NCM, this weather pattern is influenced by the extension of the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) moving towards the UAE, combined with upper-level pressure systems approaching from the east. These conditions will result in increased cloud cover and precipitation in affected areas.

Winds during this period are anticipated to be light to moderate, occasionally freshening up. The wind will predominantly blow from the southeast to northeast, shifting to northwesterly at times. The presence of convective clouds may cause blowing dust and sand, leading to reduced horizontal visibility.
Marine conditions will also be impacted, with light to moderate waves expected in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate waves, becoming rough at times on Tuesday, in the Oman Sea.
The NCM assures that it is closely monitoring the weather situation around the clock and will continue to provide timely updates to keep residents informed.
