Ras Al Khaimah, UAE – The Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge (RAK DOK) has introduced a new Golden Visa program, offering self-sponsored, long-term residency to qualifying educators in the emirate’s public and private schools. This initiative, aimed at recognizing and retaining high-caliber teaching professionals, aligns with Ras Al Khaimah’s commitment to building a top-tier educational environment.
The program is open to two main categories of educators: school leaders, including principals, vice-principals, and school directors, and all qualified teachers employed in Ras Al Khaimah’s schools. To qualify, applicants must meet specific criteria, including a minimum of three years of residency and employment within Ras Al Khaimah, possession of an advanced degree relevant to their role, and a proven record of contributing positively to their school’s performance.

Eligible educators must submit essential documents, including an official appointment letter, educational qualifications, proof of residency and employment, and evidence of their contributions to enhancing school standards. Following submission, RAK DOK will review applications and issue a confirmation of eligibility for successful candidates, who will then proceed to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) to complete their Golden Visa process.
“This initiative recognizes the critical role that educators play in improving the quality of education for all students in Ras Al Khaimah,” said Dr. Abdulrahman Al Naqbi, RAK DOK board member. “By qualifying top educators for long-term residency, we reaffirm our dedication to nurturing a robust educational environment that fosters talent and innovation.”
The new Golden Visa program is expected to significantly enhance the emirate’s educational landscape by attracting and retaining dedicated professionals who contribute to a world-class educational system in Ras Al Khaimah.
