Prague – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mofa) confirmed that a UAE national and his wife were among those injured in the tragic mass shooting incident that unfolded at a university in Prague. The authorities are actively monitoring the health status of the couple and have assured full support and healthcare, in coordination with Czech authorities.
The mass shooting, described as the worst in the history of the Czech Republic, occurred on Thursday when a student opened fire at Charles University’s philosophy department building. The gunman, identified as a student of the university, targeted fellow students, leading to the loss of at least 14 lives, with over 20 individuals reported to be injured.
